4. WUV Coin Economy
- WUV Coins ("Coins") are virtual currency used within the Platform
- Coins may be purchased via Stripe (one-time or subscription), earned through platform activities (quests, daily rewards, referrals, donations received), or awarded through contests or promotions
- Purchased Coins are non-refundable except as required by applicable law
- Earned Coins from donations received may be eligible for real-money payout via the Wallet feature (see Section 5)
- Purchased Coins may not be converted to cash; they are for in-platform use only (donations, Unlockable Shop, Marketplace)
- Coins may be converted into Keys and Doors as part of the platform's power economy. Conversion rates are set by the Platform and subject to change
- Coins have no guaranteed monetary value and may be modified, reset, or discontinued at our discretion
- Abuse of the Coin economy (farming, exploiting bugs, fraudulent activity) will result in account suspension and forfeiture of all balances
5. Wallet Activation & Payouts
- To activate your WUV Wallet and request payouts, you must complete identity verification through Stripe Identity
- Identity verification requires a government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, or state ID) and a selfie liveness check, performed via Stripe's secure verification flow on web or via the Stripe Identity Native Mobile SDK on iOS and Android
- Native Mobile SDK: When verifying on a mobile device, Stripe's prebuilt Identity SDK UI is used to collect your documents and match your photo ID with a selfie. This SDK is used strictly as provided by Stripe and is not modified. Use of a modified Stripe Identity SDK is a violation of Stripe's terms and grounds for immediate account suspension.
- Synthetic Identity Protection: Stripe's verification system uses biometric analysis and synthetic identity detection. Attempts to verify using a selfie that does not match the PII on the provided ID will be automatically rejected. Deliberate mismatches constitute identity fraud.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to request payouts directly. Guardians may act on behalf of eligible minors
- Payouts are processed exclusively through Stripe to a verified bank account or debit card
- Payout eligibility is based on your earned Coin balance. A minimum threshold applies (see platform settings)
- The Company reserves the right to place payouts on hold pending fraud review, compliance checks, or legal requests
- You are solely responsible for reporting payout income to your applicable tax authority. Payouts ≥$600/year (or applicable threshold) may be reported to the IRS via Form 1099-K or 1099-NEC
- Submitting fraudulent identity documents is a criminal offense and will result in immediate permanent account termination and referral to law enforcement
- Payouts may be rejected or reversed if funded by fraudulent donations or disputed transactions
6. Identity Verification for Platform Engagement
To protect the integrity of our platform — especially our Young Dreamer community — and to prevent fake accounts, duplicate profiles, bot engagement, and fraudulent donation inflation, all users must complete a one-time Stripe Identity verification before they can engage with content (including reactions, shares, votes, likes, and similar interactions).
- Engagement verification is a one-time requirement — once completed, you are verified for life on the platform
- Verification is performed via Stripe Identity using a government-issued photo ID and a selfie biometric liveness check
- Synthetic Identity Protection is active: verifications where the selfie biometrics match a different person's PII are automatically rejected, preventing synthetic fraud
- This requirement applies to all user types (Heroes, Champions, Guardians). Young Dreamers under 13 are managed by their Guardian's verified account
- Users who complete wallet activation verification are automatically granted engagement verification — no second check needed
- Attempting to bypass identity verification (e.g., through multiple accounts, fraudulent IDs, or other means) will result in permanent account termination
- We reserve the right to retroactively remove engagement (reactions, votes, shares) made by accounts that fail verification or are found to be fraudulent
7. User-Generated Content
- You retain ownership of content you create and upload (videos, journal entries, scripts, images)
- By posting content on the Platform, you grant WUV World, Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and promote your content in connection with operating and marketing the Platform
- You represent that your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights and does not violate any applicable laws
- We may display your public Dream Challenges on the Collective Vision page, marketing materials, and partner platforms to promote the Ark of Dreams mission
- AI-generated content (avatars, insights, scripts) is produced with your input data; you may use it within the Platform but may not claim it as exclusively human-authored for external purposes
- Content you delete will be removed from public display; retained data subject to our Privacy Policy retention schedule
8. Community Guidelines & Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Platform to:
- Post, share, or transmit content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, or violent
- Bully, stalk, or intimidate other users, especially minors
- Impersonate any person, organization, or entity
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
- Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Use automated bots or scripts to scrape content, manipulate rankings, or abuse any system
- Artificially inflate donation counts, coin balances, view counts, or referral credits
- Share another user's private information without consent ("doxxing")
- Engage in spam, unsolicited advertising, or pyramid schemes
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, permanent banning, and/or referral to law enforcement.
9. Guardian Responsibilities
- Guardians are responsible for supervising their child's use of the Platform
- By completing Guardian Onboarding, you confirm that you are the legal parent or guardian of the child account and consent to the collection and use of your child's data as described in our Privacy Policy
- Guardians may adjust privacy settings, approve content, and manage the Young Dreamer's account at any time
- Guardians are liable for any content posted by accounts under their supervision
10. Schools & Organizations
- Schools and organizations must complete our verification process before accessing institutional dashboards
- School/district admins agree to use aggregated student data only for the purposes of platform participation and educational reporting
- We comply with FERPA requirements for student data accessed through school accounts
- Verified schools may unlock additional features including class management, district challenges, and shared leaderboards
10a. Approved School Account Registration & Domain Authorization
WUV World, Inc. offers an Approved School Account designation that allows verified educational institutions to authorize student registration without individual parental/guardian consent under the following conditions:
- Domain Claim & Verification: An authorized school administrator must claim and verify their institution's email domain (e.g., @myschool.edu) through the School Verification process. Domain verification may be completed via email confirmation, DNS record, or document upload reviewed by our team.
- Institutional Authorization in lieu of Guardian Consent: Once a school domain is verified and approved, students registering with a matching school-issued email address who are under 13 years of age may bypass the individual Guardian Invitation step. The school's authorized administrator serves as the institutional authority and assumes responsibility under COPPA, FERPA, and applicable data protection laws for students under their domain.
- School Administrator Responsibility: By claiming and verifying a school domain, the school administrator confirms that: (a) they are duly authorized to act on behalf of the institution; (b) the institution has obtained any required parental or institutional consent (including COPPA consent for users under 13) in compliance with applicable law prior to student registration; (c) the institution will supervise student accounts and ensure appropriate use of the Platform in accordance with these Terms and the institution's own acceptable use policies.
- COPPA Notice to Schools: If a school authorizes student registration for users under 13, WUV World, Inc. relies on the school as the operator-agent for collecting verifiable parental consent under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Schools must ensure that parental consent has been obtained and documented prior to granting students access.
- Revocation: WUV World, Inc. reserves the right to revoke Approved School Account status at any time if the institution fails to maintain compliance, is found to have authorized registrations without proper consent, or violates these Terms. Upon revocation, affected student accounts will be transitioned to standard Guardian-consent-required status.
- No Transfer of Liability: Institutional authorization does not transfer WUV World's legal obligations under COPPA or FERPA to the school, but it does establish the school as a co-responsible party for student data processed under their domain authorization.
- Data Sharing with Schools: We may share student account activity data with the verified school administrator in aggregated and/or individual form, consistent with FERPA, solely for educational oversight and platform participation purposes.
